Germantown Pretzel Festival
Come join us for the 46th annual Germantown Pretzel Festival!
Established in 1980, the Germantown Fall Festival is a free event that takes place in Veteran's Memorial Park. Thousands of visitors come every year to enjoy the diverse selection of food, unique crafts, rides and live entertainment – not to mention pretzels! This family-friendly festival provides a great opportunity to take in the sights of historical Germantown.

It’s almost time for this year’s Germantown Pretzel Festival. We have a great line up of entertainment both Saturday and Sunday! This year, in addition to music, we’ll have Nick and Amanda Smith doing their chainsaw carvings both Saturday and Sunday.
Elvis will be in the building…or in the park! Ryan Roth and the Comeback Special will be our headliner on Saturday night from 7-9. You won’t want to miss the King and his backup singers. If this puts Elvis music in your head, go to the By Jo on Wednesday night, September 23, for Movie with the Mayor. Epic Elvis Presley in Concert will be shown. Doors open at 6:30 and the FREE movie starts at 7:15. Also on Sunday, September 20, Alleyway Café will be playing Elvis music all morning!
Other entertainment this year includes: Jimmy Dooley, an awesome Christian music singer; Buck the Magic Cowboy, the Honeycreek Cloggers, and the Spittin’ Image.
A new Kid’s Zone will be at the festival this year! This will include multiple types of Blow up houses and games along with Master Blasters.
Don’t forget… the Beer Garden is back! Join your friends down by the shelter to enjoy a cold beverage while listening to the great entertainment.
PARKING is one of the biggest challenges of the festival. We tried something new last year and had parking at Germantown Elementary on Comstock Street and buses running all day both days. It definitely needed tweaking this year. We will have buses again this year, BUT we have modified how we’ll be providing the transportation. First, there will still be parking on Comstock Street at Germantown Christian (they will be taking up DONATIONS); however, you will also see flags on several corners where buses will circle around, pickup, and drop off all weekend. The bus stops will be on the corners of South Cherry and Gunkle, South Plum and Gunkle, North Cherry and Center, and North Plum and Center. We will have signs on Market Street (SR 725) pointing to where the stops are located.
